Side grip vacuum lifting frames from ANVER feature a spreader beam, adjustable cross arms, and vacuum pads on two sides. These vacuum pads allow for the handling of products that are too heavy to lift off the top. These frames are ideal for loading and unloading goods into shipping containers, or onto skids.
Selecting the Vacuum Lifting pad Size and Style
Technical Description: The vacuum engine consists of a freely-moving piston inside a closed circle. A rubber rolling diaphragm seals the piston and the cylinder. The seal's integrity does not depend on metal to metal contact, or tight fit. It does not lose its effectiveness with use.
These lifters/tilters were designed with safety in mind. They include a VLS, 9V battery powered vacuum leakage sensor, warning system, and attach/release slide valve with safety lock. The AMC-Series Lifters/Tilters have a 24 inch maximum vacuum level. Hg (609.6mm Hg), with a safety factor of 4:1 on vacuum holding (unless specified otherwise).
The switch that is connected to the lifting-bail controls the vacuum attach and release cycle. After the unit has been lowered onto the load, the suspension chain will slacken and the switch will start the attachment process. A green light will indicate that the unit is safe to lift once it has reached the correct vacuum level. Now you can lower the unit to allow the load to fall. Once the vacuum has been released, the hoist controls can be used to raise the unit and prepare you for your next lift.
Choose the Right Vacuum Lifting Pad Style and Size
NOTE: Multiple rows may not be necessary for following the above guidelines. However, they should always be considered if loadtipping is a concern. An even number must be specified when choosing cross-arm members to a vacuum lifting device that is designed for up-ending or tilting.
Transformers should not be mounted remotely: Many local regulations are requiring that 3-phase power is not run below the hook. This is often the case for smaller units that are intended to be operated by an operator. For safety reasons, the transformer should be mounted on a wall or remotely. The proper transformers are available for lifters. They ship in a separate box and must be installed by an electrician. It is best to have this work done by an electrician or local crane installer who is familiar with the requirements of your state's codes. Important: According to the ASME B30.20 Regulations, which are found on the American Standard ASME website, this article concerns "(i) Power disconnects. (1) A separate vacuum lifter circuit switch must be installed for hoisting equipment that uses an externally powered vacuum pump. It should have the provision to lock, flagge, or tag in the off position. The vacuum lifter disconnect switch must be connected to the power supply side of the disconnect switch for hoisting equipment. Externally powered vacuum lifters that are 120 VAC single-phase power sources do not require disconnects. This calculator can be used to calculate voltage drop based on wire size, material and voltage. It also allows you to estimate distance, amp draw, and phase. Electric Self-Cycling Operation (ESC available on vacuum generators equipped with Safety Lock-Out Bail, VPE1–GEN2, BAE1–GEN2, VPE3–GEN2, BAE3–GEN2, GF5T and GF10T respectively)
Technical Description: The vacuum generator is composed of a free-moving piston and a closed cylinder. The seal between the piston cylinder is created by an airtight rubber rolling diaphragm. This seal is extremely efficient and does not suffer from metal-to–metal contact.
ANVER offers both electric and gas-powered vacuum lifters. They can be tilted manually to allow for one-person operation and have lifting capacities of up to 60,000 lb (26,000 kg) depending on your needs.
Mechanical Vacuum Lifters that are Self-Powered and Self-Cycling. No Power Service is Required. So Set-up is Easy
The piston's bottom has an automatic self-cycling cylinder that controls the vacuum attach/release cycle. Once the unit has been lifted onto the load, the suspension chains will be lowered to reduce the lifter's weight. The piston valve will then automatically close with a cam. The piston will be pulled upwards by the lifting action. This creates a vacuum inside the chamber and beneath the vacuum pads. Once the load is settled, and the suspension cable is relaxed, the cam opens to let out the vacuum. The lifter is then ready to be lifted for the next pickup. Instantaneous attachment and release occur. The valve sealing disk cannot cycle when the chain is completely tightened. Therefore, it cannot move while in use and won't release the load.
Technical Description : The vacuum generator comprises a free-moving piston in a closed tube. A rubber rolling dialm creates an airtight seal between piston and cylinder. Its efficiency does not decrease with use, as it is not dependent on metal-to–metal contacts or tight fits.
ANVER offers vacuum lifters that are electric or air-powered. The vacuum lifters have manual 90-degree tilting capabilities, which allows for one-person manipulation. Lifting capacities up to 60,000 lb (26.600kg) can also be available depending on your requirements.
Vacuum lifters are devices used in material handling. They can lift and move loads, then put them back down using a vacuum.
Leakages in electronic brake boosters, which are housed with the master cylinder, can also affect their performance. A vacuum leak can cause engine malfunction if there is a hole or check valve that allows air to enter the system. 3 Dec 2021
A typical engine should produce between 17 and 21 inches. Hg (inches or mercury) is the vacuum produced by an engine under light loads. However, this value will fall below 5 in. When it is under high load conditions, such as pulling a trailer up steep grades or wide-open throttle acceleration.
